This Privacy Policy describes how Sweet Hour ("Sweet Hour", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Sweet Hour mobile application (the "App") and the related backend service hosted at api.sweethour.app (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Sweet Hour is operated as a sole proprietorship by the developer of the App, based in the United States. You can reach us at hello@sweethour.app for any privacy question, request, or complaint. We respond to legitimate requests within 30 days.
We collect only what we need to run the Service. Specifically:
openid, email, profile scopes). We do not receive your Google password. We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone audio. Other than the analytics and advertising-measurement described above (Google Analytics for Firebase and Meta), we do not share your information with advertising networks, and we do not sell your information.
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the small number of service providers required to run the App:
hello@sweethour.app.We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sweet Hour, our users, or others.
We keep your account record and listening history for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account (see Section 7), we delete or anonymize your account record, listening history, favorites, and playlists within 30 days, except where we are required to retain specific records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA). These can include the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, the right to object to or restrict processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sweethour.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using either of these channels:
We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. Deletion removes your user record, listening history, playlists, and the underlying Navidrome streaming account. Note that canceling a subscription through Google Play does not delete your account; you must use one of the channels above to request deletion of the account itself.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at hello@sweethour.app and we will delete it.
We use TLS (HTTPS) for all client-to-server traffic, store passwords only as Google-issued tokens (we never see your Google password), keep our backend on a private network behind a reverse proxy, and apply security updates regularly. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our servers are located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the date of the latest version. If we make material changes we will notify users in the App or by email before the changes take effect.
